Our client is the leading hard disk drive and semiconductor manufacturers, a world renowned research institute with extensive portfolio of hard disk and optical drive technologies. It's track record includes installation and servicing of mass production laser equipment at some major customers’ facilities located in USA, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia. It's major shareholders are the EDB & ST.

1. Principal Engineer/Staff Engineer –Laser Applications

The Job

• Design and develop laser equipment and processes, according to customer specifications, from conception and design to production and validation
• Responsibilities include experimentation, prototyping, characterization, optimization, process and intellectual property development, evaluation, testing and modification

The Person

• MS/PhD in Engineering or Physics or B.Sc. degree in Engineering
• 5 or more years experience in photonics
• Creative, able to propose solutions and resolve technical problems independently
• Good project management skills

2, FIS Engineer

The Job

• Develop and implement new and existing products, tools and processes required for the operation, maintenance and testing of products.
• Modify existing software to fit users’ needs and configurations and carry out validation to integrate with total system hardware.
• Provide 24/7 support for production, support users, mission critical systems and applications.
• Conduct user-acceptance test and present report

The Person

• Diploma, BS/MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with min 1-2 years of experience in MSSQL support, .Net, ASP, VB, ASP,Net
• Strong in production support and analytical skills
• Proficient in Transact SQL and SQL Server related technologies
• Must be strong in database design using MS SQL

3. Product Manager/Executive

The Job

• Source for customers, identify their needs and define customized product and pricing
• Prepare/administer/study sales contracts, ensure criteria are met and negotiate reasonable terms and conditions
• Manage customers’ expectations and work closely with teams to develop and modify the product if required, while updating progress status to customers regularly.
• Promote products, push for sales and identify new product/service needs
• Develop sales forecasts, budget and manpower plans

The Person

• Diploma/Degree in engineering, business administration or relevant discipline
• Min 3 years of experience in sales, business development or marketing
• Driven, customer-oriented, good communication and interpersonal skills and has an eye for details
• Able to learn fast and willing to take on challenge and accountability
